Assistant Coach

First Season

San Jac alumnus Pablo Reyes is entering his first year as assistant coach for the San Jacinto College men’s soccer program.

Originally from Houston, Reyes attended North Shore Senior High school where he helped the team reach three consecutive Regional Quarterfinal appearances. As a senior, Pablo captained the side and was named District 21-5A offensive player of the year, second team all-region, and academic all- state team member. After high school Reyes played at San Jac during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. During his sophomore year, he helped San Jac finish third at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national tournament.

After graduating from San Jacinto College, Reyes spent two seasons at Louisiana State University at Alexandria, helping to launch its men’s soccer program. In the first two years of the program’ s history, Reyes helped the team to two consecutive playoff berths. In his senior year, Reyes captained the team and received the Red River Athletic Conference Champions of Character award.

Pablo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University at Alexandria.

Fifth Season


Carie Mueller enters her fifth year at San Jacinto College. She came to San Jac after spending two years as an assistant athletic trainer for the University of North Texas. There, she worked with the women’s basketball, tennis, and football teams, and was also the insurance liaison for all sports. Prior to her time at UNT, Mueller spent four years as a head athletic trainer for the Arena Football League.

Originally from Oskaloosa, Kansas, Mueller received her bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Ottawa University while also on an athletic scholarship for basketball. She then earned her Masters of Athletic Training degree in 2007 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Mueller is certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification and holds her license by the state of Texas. She is also a Performance Enhancement Specialist.
