She received her BA in Political Science from UH-Main. Lilia is a first generation college student and understands the struggles that students face when they have no one in their immediate circle to go to with questions related to higher education. Motivated by a desire to help others reach their academic goals, Lilia looks forward to helping as many students as possible in this role.

Rachel received her BA in English from University of North Texas before living in England for a year of graduate studies at the University of York. She returned to Houston where she completed her MA in Cross Cultural Studies at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. Rachel has been assisting students for the past decade, including being a high school ESL and history teacher. She is excited to assist students in continuing their education and be successful in reaching their goals.

FUN FACT: Rachel loves traveling and has been to 15 countries. When she's not planning her next trip, she loves trying new foods, reading, and finding great deals.

Gabriela has over 4 years of experience in career services, financial aid, advising, and admissions within higher education. She received her BA in Psychology from Ashford University in Clinton Iowa. She enjoys advising students from many different cultures, ethnicities, and educational backgrounds. She enjoys assisting students with developing educational plans that empower them to achieve their objectives. She is bilingual (Spanish) and is very passionate about assisting students in both English and Spanish.

FUN FACT: When Gabriela was younger she was in a semi- pro soccer team here in Houston, and she is still able to dribble a soccer ball.

Lupita earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Houston - Downtown. She is an alumni member of Gamma Alpha Omega and had been in the education field ever since. Lupita feels very passionate and driven in helping students reach their academic goals and getting started in higher education. Lupita loves to promote awareness to students and provide them with opportunities they thought were unreachable. Students giver her motivation to seek the best option for each one of them.

Reva is San Jac Ceritified! She received her Associate's Degree in 2009 from San Jacinto College and completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Houston. She has over 10 years of experience in higher education. She possess a warm spirit and loves to help educate, empower, and equip students in their future endeavors.
WHY MY JOB IS AWESOME: My job is awesome because it gives me the opportunity to give back the wisdom, knowledge, and experience that was planted in me. It also allows me to be able to reach people and see their lives change one student or soul at a time.
FUN FACT: Reva loves giving back to the community that she grew up in. She loves to travel and hopes to one day have her own group organization where she can witness life-changing experiences. She also hopes to be able to live happily ever after, retire, and ride around in her sling-shot motorcycle.

Rose started out at San Jacinto College earning an Associate’s Degree in Journalism. She then transferred to the University of Houston – Clear Lake where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She was thrilled to have an opportunity to come back to San Jac as an employee and be a part of the wonderful community that supported her through her education.
WHY MY JOB IS AWESOME: My job is awesome because I have the privilege of helping students find their path into college. I believe it only takes one person to make a difference in someone’s life. I do not believe that college is not for everyone. Tell me your dreams and I will make them come true.
FUN FACT: Rose loves to sing and she hopes to star in a musical one day. She also wants to sing with a mariachi band one day! (Just for fun!)

Marcie received her Associates of Arts in 2013 and her Associates of Science in 2015 both from Lone Star College – Kingwood. She then received her Bachelors of Science in Sociology with a Minor in Leadership from Texas A&M University in 2017. Marcie has been advising students since she began college through being a freshman orientation leader, a student ambassador, a campus tour guide, and then working for the College Advising Corps for a year after graduation. She is excited to work with students on their transition from high school to college and help them realize their full potential.
WHY MY JOB IS AWESOME: Marcie loves being able to work one on one with students and help them reach their dreams that they thought were impossible.
FUN FACT: Marcie loves country music and is on a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo committee where she gets to gives tours to school aged children through the agventure animal exhibits.

Chandra worked for over 4 years in the non-profit sector before recently transitioning into higher education. She made the switch because she has seen the positive impact that higher education can have on lives and because she is passionate about helping individuals realize their own potential. She received her BS in University Studies - Business from Texas A&M University. Chandra is excited to walk with students as they enter into their higher education pathways.

Kimberly is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of counseling experience. She received her BA in Psychology from Baylor University and her MS in Counseling from University of Houston – Clear Lake. She was first in her family to graduate from college so she understands the challenges that first generation students face when applying to college. She strives to assist students in recognizing their strengths and make their transition from high school to college more seamless.

FUN FACT: Kimberly loves to travel with her son and scuba dive.
