Men’s soccer to hold tryouts for 2017 team

HOUSTON – The San Jacinto College men’s soccer team will hold open tryouts for the 2017 season on Friday, April 28, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the South Campus soccer field.
Tryouts are open to all college students and 2017 high school graduates. Participants are required to bring their own shin guards and water.
San Jac completed the 2016 season with a third-place finish at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national championship. The return trip to nationals was the seventh for the San Jacinto College men’s soccer program and second for Head Coach Ian Spooner.
