3 San Jac men’s soccer players go to PDL and NPSL

HOUSTON, Texas - Donald Benamna, Juan David Agredo and David Koloko of San Jacinto College signed to continue their soccer careers playing for semi-pro teams.

Benamna signed with the Ocean City Nor’easters, the No. 1 ranked team in the Eastern Conference’s Mid Atlantic Division of the Premier Development League. Last season the 5-8 Forward from Baltimore (Montgomery Blair HS) started and played in 13 games for San Jacinto College, with 15 goals and 1 assist for a total of 31 points. Benamna led Region XIV in goals and points, and was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s All-American second team.

Agredo, a 5-11 sophomore from Houston (Bellaire HS), joined the Kalamazoo FC (KZFC) of the National Premier Soccer League for its inaugural season. The midfielder started in four games last season, playing in a total of seven. He had 1 goal and 1 assist for a total of 3 points, and .667 shot on goal percentage. Agredo has also played with the Houston Dynamo Academy and top clubs in South America, including Deportivo Cali in Colombia and Boca Juniors in Argentina. After his season with KZFC, Agredo will return to San Jacinto College to continue his collegiate playing career.

Koloko also joined KZFC. The midfielder started and played in 13 games last season for San Jacinto College. Prior to San Jac, the 6-2 Atlanta, Georgia (Berkmar HS) native played with the Olympic Development Program at both the state and regional level, and the U-18 Academy of the Houston Dynamo. Koloko will return to collegiate play after his season with KZFC, recently signing a National Letter of Intent to play at Garner-Webb University.
