Volleyball defeats Navarro on first day of regional tournament

The San Jacinto College volleyball team beat Navarro College (25-22, 25-17, 25-14) on the first day of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIV Volleyball Tournament.

The tournament is taking place this weekend, Nov. 4-6, at Lee College in Baytown, Texas. With the win, San Jac (25-7) will face Tinity Valley Community College on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. The nine freshmen, six sophomore team went into the tournament as the top contender in the South Zone.
