San Jac soccer pursues NJCAA D1 South District Semifinals

The San Jacinto College men’s soccer team will face Hinds Community College on Friday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. in Raymond, Mississippi at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division 1 South District Semifinals.
The team enters with a 15-4-1 record. Leading the team are sophomore forwards Ricardo Ramos and Meike Hikaruhito, and freshman forward Heiko Leinweber. Currently, Ramos has 12 goals and four assists for 28 points; Hikaruhito stands at eight goals and five assists for 21 points; and Leinweber holds eight goals and seven assist for 23 points.
The winner of the Region XIV District Semifinal will qualify for the NJCAA National Tournament in Tyler, Texas taking place Nov. 16-21. For more information on San Jacinto College athletics, visit sanjacsports.com
