Free training in cybersecurity available at San Jacinto College

Professionals with prior experience in information technology (IT) may be eligible to take cybersecurity certification courses at San Jacinto College free of charge, thanks to assistance from the Information Technology Training for Tomorrow (IT3) grant by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Those who are employed, unemployed, and underemployed may choose between a variety of IT courses like SharePoint Administration and Ethical Hacking. IT employers are invited to send their employees to these courses for upgraded certifications. The IT3 grant also covers the cost of the certification exam, while funds last, for those who are unemployed or underemployed.

The following are upcoming cybersecurity certification courses at San Jacinto College: 

VMWare 5.5, June 15 to June 19

Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing, June 8 to June 12

CCNA Bootcamp, June 25 to July 18

Sharepoint Administration, June 22 to June 26

A+ Fast Track Certification, July 13 to Aug. 6
